Spot lights turn on dim in bathroom and fan comes on when fan isolator is switched on but light switch is off

Brown is the live terminal and black is in the timer terminal

Disconnect the wire from the timer terminal in the fan and see if the light issue is resolved.

this is what you said I believe ? so therefore I can only assume either he doesn't exist or he is not registered or something similar but as I cannot know this from reading a forum post I used the word allegedly!.
Only you know the truth of this , is that OK as an explanation for you .

He definitely exists cos I saw him lol but probably not registered hence why he won't answer the phone or messages

Leave as is, just make sure the fan end isnt touching anything - insulate it or put a Wago connector / screw terminal on it
