the 16mm T&E is to a shower consumer unit

So what was wrong with using a empty 45a MCB then? Really does make you wonder sometimes. headbang

Andy the 45 amp mcb looks used to me looks odd how it's terminated though whats going off there ?

very common.

10mm + doesnt fit into them MCB's very well, so most 40 + 45 have the adapters

Screws missing on RCD links L&N
no screws to start with. just a link

Surely if the incoming tails and the shower share the same connectors the rcd has been by-passed? Or am I missing something?

shower CU below had its own RCD, so no issue there. instead of splitting the tails properly, they bodged 2x 16mm tails into the top of the RCD

Surely if some one has gone to the trouble of putting a shower C/U in then a few quid more on a bigger henley block

wouldn't have taken that much effort.

Unless he did it live and not isolate the oiginal C/U:shakehead
