streams, funny things to rod beside,

either really good readings, due to the water table,

or totally C**p due to all the water running off into them and leaving the surrounding area bone dry, esp hot dry summer,

can be a brilliant reading when you bang it in, then 2weeks later after a 'drought' its in the gazillions!!!!!!!!
