are there any out there or do you need to fit seperate timers.?

customer has gone over to economy 7 and wants 2 storage heaters in the new barn conversion.

Theory - why do you want a timer? They come live at night when the economy 7 kicks in and charge up until the thermostat stops. They then cool down through the day.

No timer needed!

not if they have a new meter that switches over from peak to economy 7 without any extra wiring to a seperate cu.

hence the need to regulate the time the storage heaters start 'charging'

I recently installed a storage heater with a built in convector element in a farm office.

Used an immersion heater timer, wired the convector element to the boost circuit so that:

a. It could only be put on upto an hour (couldn't be left on by mistake)

b. It couldn't be on at the same time as the "charge" elements.
