Suicidal birds

Birds seem to be more suicidal than normal this week. hit 3 of them.

Tuesday one hit the bumper and landed on the other side of the road. not sure if the traffic going the other way got it or not. today one flew into the front NS wheel and got flattened (at 40MPH), then later another smaller bird flies into side of van, before flying away in a different direction

They will take their revenge on you Andy, remember the Hitchcock film.

Its probably a UFO hovering above Tyneside looking for a petrol station and causing a shift in the Earth's magnetic field , thus confusing the birds .

would that be the weird looking round thing in the sky that sounded like it ran out of fuel before falling into the park?

I nominate the humble pheasant for the world's thickest and least traffic aware bird in existence.

As for animals badgers seem the dumbest see more of them at the side of the road than others.

Nah ! Hedgehogs . They think if they roll up in a ball the cars will bounce off them, poor guys.

I like hedgehogs never like to see them squashed.
