Never had hair extensions in my life! But I'm starting to consider wearing a wig until I get paid and can sort out my hair. It's gone from black and blue to brown and green.

My wifes hair went from blonde (ish) to a blue / green colour as our water is from a well and is quite peaty, peaty water is not great for copper and I think it causes the copper to leach into the water giving my wife a free hair tint

Back to things we don't like what about people posting their homework on the forum without even trying it themselves first, appears to be 2 or 3 new posters at it just now.

Having to have a larger gas main at home and having to remove airbrick at front door, drill inner course of brick, drill 50mm hole in joist just to thread 28mm copper pipe under floor....mind you I did that and my Gas Safe Plumber mate wrangled it into position under the floor.....i had the best bit of the task on reflection

Internet providers who say there is NO line fault , so my customer calls me and my JDSu tells me there are 3 HiRes faults between the user and the exchange AND the line fails EVERY test put on it!

few years ago my internet didnt work. phoned virgin, who said there was no problem their side and the modem is responding normally, and that it must be my computer at fault, even though the lighting on the modem indicate no cable signal.

even after all this time, im not sure how he managed to 'talk' to my modem, since the problem was caused by a contractor cutting through the main cable into the area, which took them 3 days to fix....

ah, see, as much as I may dislike adverts I hate the tax the bbc makes me pay to watch stuff I dont want to watch, even if I dont watch it.!!!!

You raise a  good point there Stepps ,  what if there was a block on receiving BBC unless you had a license,or inserted a card into the set ,  can't be impossible can it ?    Anyone objecting to the license fee could just watch commercial TV .    Problem is , BBC has to be funded somehow , its a license or adverts.      And we pay through the nose for the products that do advertise on TV ,  theres no free lunches these days.

Remembering , of course , that the TV license is the same as Vehicle Tax ............most of it goes into the government money pot , with a small percentage paid to fund the BBC .    As Road Tax only a small percent spent on the roads. 

Personally I prefer it and would pay just to receive radios  4...5 ..  WM ... 4extra .

With Freesat  and Terrestial TV  we must have  200 channels ... 95%  of which I don't watch .    ( Theres one carrying wall to wall repeats of Bullseye.FFS :C )

afaiaa Deke, 100% of the licence fee goes to the bbc, and it is a legal requirement if you watch LIVE tv

if you watch delayed tv via the internet then its not required,

i read something on this a few weeks ago, its yet another travesty of this country where you are forced to pay for something you dont want,

tbh, about all the tv I watch is on eurosport [commercial channel], bike racing, costs a couple of quid a month to watch it, but because I watch it live, then I must pay the bbc a licence fee,

the wife prob watches bbc, but if the choice was there to lose it and save 145£ then I know what would happen.

Think about it Stepps ........  £145  from virtually every home in Britain is one of the biggest earners the government has ,  after petrol / diesel. 

I would estimate  around  £100,000.00  from my road alone

Its declared how much the Beeb gets every year , not sure where to look .

Dont forget that the BBC has a F HUGE legal bill for all the "alleged". Fiddly diddlying personalities from the 70s and 80s, so in effect WE will be paying YET again

Other channels also have big legal bills for similar fiddly diddlying, it is not just the Beeb that employed and blindly ignored the perves ( allegedly).... All info gained from the media and NOT through first hand knowledge

Are they not just going after the person Kerch,  how can they claim the employer was responsible ?   

Reminded me of Birmingham City Council who , in their wisdom , did not pay their thousands of female workers equal pay with men when that became law.

They now have to find , something in the region of £1 billion quid in back pay .   And it would seem , no one is responsible .

Hence many council run operations are being shut down .

Whilst I do not condone any sexual abuse/assault on women I honestly think there should be a maximum period of time to report such things. It is unfair on everyone accusing someone of doing something to you 25 years ago. There is no evidence, it becomes a case of one word against another.

Surely, if the "reports" are to be believed, the BBC knew of the Savilery and elected to turn a blind eye SO they were complicit?
