I know I'm not completely daft.

I've removed two 8 year old time switches on towel rail (lighting circuits) and replaced them with Timeguard WiFi Switches. I even remembered how to use my Multimeter to find the live circuit.

But somewhat overconfident I have removed the 5 year old Timeguard NNTO4 timeswitch on the immersion. The wiring was different, see photo.

I have put in place a Timeguard WiFi switch. FSTWIFITU. Identical to the two I've already installed. Wiring different, see photos.

I've no Power to the new FSTWIFITU unit. Dead as a dodo. No glowing blue light.

Multimeter says no live wire blue or brown. How is that possible?

Should I have left Earth Wires capped off?

Is there a mysterious connection or two I'm missing? It looks like the old NNT04 had a link between L and ?

If only the terminology was standardised I have half a chance.... SL? Sin? S Out?

Any help appreciated, please explain like I'm 5.

Thanks

Richard

Thank you everyone. Yes Load and Feed were in the wrong terminals.

I did not help matters by placing Multimeter in Hold Mode so it gave a constant reading. I could not find the live wire.

But all sorted now.

Thanks
