Buy the cheaper one first - to get used to it... (Fein Blades are expensive)... And then look at buying the Fein - if needed.

I had exactly the same problem about a year ago (with a 110v Makita) and ended up just buying a cheap 230v one from B&Q... It does the job and I no longer have to lug a transformer about!!

all the metal frame of the saw is bent. mostly because it gets thrown in a box in the van....before every use, you need to straighten it!

you can make your own blades out of an old jetcut saw, i did and works just as good maybe better in some instances .... really good tool for fiddly cuts .

If u used dynamite i think youll be chasing the house down the road :^O are we allowed to use animals as tools??? a beaver is an idea , could chew through the boards and make an access hole u need

i think a beaver would be a useful tool in those new straw houses!

Sure Admin posted a template he made for cutting floors with circular saw so that depth of cut and straight lines could be achevied easily on a previous post.
