I had exactly the same problem about a year ago (with a 110v Makita) and ended up just buying a cheap 230v one from B&Q... It does the job and I no longer have to lug a transformer about!!Replacement blades are available!
all the metal frame of the saw is bent. mostly because it gets thrown in a box in the van....before every use, you need to straighten it!Replacement blades are available!

you can make your own blades out of an old jetcut saw, i did and works just as good maybe better in some instances .... really good tool for fiddly cuts .Or as Patch says - there is a cheaper version, made by Bosche.Buy the cheaper one first - to get used to it... (Fein Blades are expensive)... And then look at buying the Fein - if needed.
Slight overkill but effectivecould always use a chainsaw.... just make sure you know whats under before you start!
Or dynamite! ; \could always use a chainsaw.... just make sure you know whats under before you start!
