Hi after some advise please

My mate who I work with has been offered to have his training paid for by our new company so he can get qualified!

What's the best way for him to go about this?

I did apprenticeship from school so city and guilds, nvq3 am2 all included!

What c&g course is best for him and do you have to do nvq3?

Depends entirely on his level of skills, knowledge and competencies. If he is completely new he may be able to get on to the NVQ level 2 and go from there while doing the 2330 level 2 as well. Hope this helps. P.s.

Is he going through a training body like jtl?

No don't think so, I did mine through jtl when I was 16 but he's 32. He already has c&g and nvq level 1,2,3 in mechanical engineering, CNC machining etc so he is quite capable of achieving quals.

Like I said mine was all sorted for me so just wondering how you went about it on your own!

Thanks for the reply

C&G 2330 level 2 (2 years)

C&G 2330 level 3 (1 year)

NVQ level 3 ( complete on site and in college)

C&G 17th edition (1 week)

C&G 2391 (1 week)

2391 is changing soon into two separate modules. So he may have to do the two new modules.

I have assumed he will be working for the company for 4 days a week and going to college 1 day a week.

Cheers electrician 786

Yeah he works with me as my mate, the collage near us does the 2330 over two evenings a week so that's not a problem.

afternoon, im the trainee in question... as parky has already stated, ive done my c+g and nvq up to level 3 etc etc, ive been into my local college this afternoon and the next available start date will be 11th sept, so all being well ill be on that course, the 2330 level 2 is now done over 1 year but 2 nights a week 1800-21.15 and same for level 3 ... thanks for everyones advice and i welcome any more input you all have

price is around

Cheers mate, Jesus just had a look through and I'm baffled by a lot on here, you do know your going to be questioned to hell dont you :slap :
