useless thread

I can't stand people who start "useless" threads like this, I'd never do it , I'm far too sensible.

I wouldn't post on them either , it just encourages them.

I also dislike Txting and the spellin wot guz wiv it , init .

And also the spread of what is called the " Glottle Stop" I believe. Eastenders has spread it and now all the kids have stopped using the letter T . So you hear " Tha* guy 'as a bad a i ude , *no* wa a meanlike .

What about the Australian thing where peoples' voices go up at the end of sentences? I think it was a Neighbours thing.

Also what about white people who talk as though they're black & use their hands like rap artists?

Strange that I remember all the young black guys around here in the sixties ,spoke with Brummie accents but they don't anymore . Wonder what brought that about .

FYI: The "Glottal Stop" is the "gh" sound used in some languages, including Welsh and Arabic; hence the reason many english-speakers have problems with those languages.

I can pass the odd word in both languages, but can`t do that sound very well.
