Had a phone call tonight..

Lady says she needs her property re-wired..

I ask a few general questions to suss out what sort of stuff she thinks she actually needs doing..

and if actually lived in or buying new house etc..

and also ask what sort of timescale they are looking at to have the work done..

now this is the bit that intrigues me....

she says its already their property and we need work done urgently..

because we have been told "Its Unsafe To Live In"???

I asked who had said that & what reasons they gave...

She said someone who came to service something..

gave here a report listing various stuff that need URGENT attention because it is unsafe...

(included various earth related problems? :| : O)

So...

I shall be going round there on Thursday evening to have a look and give them a quote!!

we shall see.. How bad is bad.... Apparently it was suggested they should move out??? :|

What do you reckon then folks?

Lead cables?

Nails in the fuse holders?

I didn't have much time to talk over the details (had to do my Dads Taxi service:|)

I am guessing the Gas man has been in to service the boiler...

and left a card or letter about No bonding or something?????

It is her moms home.... father passed away during passed year

poor old sole is now 65+ needing to sort out the electrics at the house..

but there is some PVC in there which may still be functional with a bit of life left in it? so may be partial re-wire with some associated testing of other circuits!
