Just heard on the news that the IMF is warning that the uk leaving the EU could cause global economic collapse and have downgraded the forecast for the U.K.

So no control & power being flexed there then, what they scared of I ask.

The IMF have been wrong before.  I wonder how many will now vote OUT as a result of this "advice"

P.S polls now showing 50:50, there's hope for out yet.

Oh Dave, don't be deceived. They are never gonna let us out of it unless the whole euro thing self destructs, but you could probably put money on it being an in vote. Look at Scotland the poles said that the outs had it then on the day it was in, how did that happen?

Pre-Election Polls are just meaningless media fodder.

Look at the last General Election, then the Exit Poll on the night was, to everyones shock surprise, correct!

I agree, it's amazing how money carries so much weight.

Now wgere gave I heard it said that ' the love of money is the root of all evil'?

I wonder why they really want us in?

If we do vote 'in'. Just think what the EU will do then?  They will have a full mandate.

I notice Cameron's 'special deal' has not been mentioned much. Maybe because it was not special and was not a deal m

Re the "new deal"  He went asking for not very much, and got not very much of what he asked for.

Didn't he say at the start, he would re negotiate our membership, and IF he got a good deal he would campaign to remain in the EU.  So on his measure, should he not now be campaiging to leave as all he demonstrated is how little influence we actually have and how little change we are capable of making to the club?

What you talking about? Dave thought it was a good deal, a good deal for the EU, remember he's gotta keep them sweet as he'll need a job after this one, similar to B-liar!

Yes you are right. He said "if it's a good deal" not "If it's a good deal for the UK"

Typical politician.

These politicians make me laugh with some of their logic,it's like when they come out with something like the olympics which cost the taxpayer a hell of a lot of money.they justify it by saying "well it only works out at £2 per person" that's fine but do we get anything back personally? No we don't,and that to me is wrong,if I was to say "ok we have 300 members and I want to do my 17th,so if you all give me £2 each I can buy the books do the exam and I'll pay everyone £4 back when I'm working" then that may not seem a bad thing,I get what I need and everyone gets something back, but for these councils and governments to arbitrerely decide that you must contribute to some of their silly schemes and get nothing back,to me that's just wrong.Same with the HS3,it will only cost each person X well ok but how many of those people who are effectively forced to contribute will actually get something back? I for one will never use it,no I'd rather my 2 or 3 quid went towards repairing local roads,I use them daily.

That's democracy in action :slap

it it has to be coz Dave said we're all in it together.
Oh yes we're all in it together,it's just that the stuff some of us are in is brown, smelly, and getting deeper.

it was on the news today that some organisation has done research (at what cost it didn't say) but they've discovered that of all the people that attend universitiy, those from wealthy backgrounds go on to higher paid jobs when they graduate due to social contacts, tell me something I didn't know.Back in the day it was referred to as "the old school tie",I know I was a victim of it on at least one occasion.
