What is this strange EARTH WIRE of which you speak?I think you were told wrong Roys ..
A saddle is the basic arch shaped clip with two fixings that holds conduit flat on the wall.
A SPACER BAR saddle has a slim base and a seperate clip.
A DISTANCE SADDLE spaces the tube off about 1/4" .
As you say , A HOSPITAL saddle spaces it well off the wall to prevent shytte building up behind the tube , also used in food factories.
After many years in the trade I never heard of a BAR saddle TBH .
But they could have changed the name of course as they do every few months with EARTH WIRE .
New one on me :lol:What is this strange EARTH WIRE of which you speak?
Well not really wrong am I, as all I was saying is that a Hospital saddle gives a gap behind the conduit to stop dust build up.I think you were told wrong Roys ..
