Which qualifications do I still need?

Hi everyone. I would like to say thanks in advance for all the replies. 

I completed the C&G 2330 level 2 & 3 and also the 17th edition regs over 7 years ago studying evening courses in my local college. Unfortunately my circumstances would not allow me to go into the Electrical trade full-time. I've been doing electrical work with another electrician on and off and have a lot of experience in domestic and some in commercial. My question is what additional qualifications and experience do I need to get the gold card to work on-site and can I build my portfolio for NVQ L3 working for a qualified electrician doing mainly domestic work. 

I am planning on doing the I&T in the future.
