Which Tester?

Hi all, im looking at getting myself a multi fumction tester and was looking for opinions on which people find easiest to use/ most realiable etc.

whilst doing my 2330 i used meggers but dont have any experience of other types

Do you mean somewhere like HSS or Speedy?

Try Megger Mark here, He rents testers out.

Ive had a Kewtech KT61 and it was an utter piece of crap issued by my previous employer when testing a low Ze reading the display would just show 0.00 it could only be rectified by bashing the tester on the side of the lamp coulmn.

Ive got a Fluke 1653B and im really happy with it but i would also recommend Megger testers.

percussive maintenance fixes just about everything...

Used to get fed up of sending the bloody thing in for repair and it comming back with no fault found ! The old LT5 they issued me with was more reliable
