At a property to install sockets & lights in a garage conversion.
"For cash could you sign off the other electrical work that has been done around the house by me & the builder"
No but I can do a quick visual inspection today while I'm here & undertake a periodic at a later date if you like.
The following are reasons why you as a spark should not sign off diy/builders/kitchen fitters electrical work.

I've not done anything other than lift the cables from under the floor.

And now with the lid off.

That was where the IR fault was.
As a spur off a spur off the 30amp 3036 (uncontinious ring) the feed to the garden shed come workshop & an unfused down supply for a security light.

The shed installation..... remember I have not removed anything....this is how I found it all live & in use by the home owner to operate garden lighting / sockets for drill & saw + 2x freezers & a feed to a second shed.
