    I dont see why you cant note it as a code 4. That way its not going to affect the outcome of the PIR but allows you to record your concerns....I think The ESC give similar guidance for noting items of potential concern that are not in themselves directly covered in specific terms by BS...

    I think there is no doubt such work is an alteration to the installation by virtue of the fact you are breaking and then re-making connections,therefore you need to verify your finished work is safe. I think therefore Regs 134.2 .1 and 131.8 should be complied with. a1spark.

    Hi Evvo. If the boiler is sited in a bathroom then the Supp bonding may [or may not] be required. If Supp bonding is not required by Bs 7671 then the boiler manufacturers instructions require looking at....if they dont require it then there is no reason to install it. a1spark
