    if all testing is done at L+N to earth then in the scedual of item tested, i tick the box insulation resistance between live conductors and earth and put N/A in insulation resistance between live conductors. in test results I just put L+N - E >299 ect

    what were your trip times at X1 and X5 what is the rcd bs number but any how as andy says if you did not test the rcd in isolation then your results may be inaccurate

    have done this once when lug was compleatly knacked, so much you could push the screw through the hole, anyway may be a bit rough but, with some fast setting strong glue (mitre mate) i stuck a small pice of plastic behined the lug then drilled and taped it.

    hello, changed a cu in a house and one of the ring final is set up as, ring too an enclosure then mutilpe spurs from this point to sockets this set up is a bodge and i think the best thing to do is treat it as radial and use a 20A mcb which will be adequate for the load. just want to see what...
