I've gone for having 2g switches at each door for lights and 5a socket. Seem easiest and simplest to be honest. I am curious about how they do it in hotels etc though. Usually a 3G switch for wall lights ceiling etc but then one switch for the lot by the bed

Ok I'll set the situation up for you I'm at a rewire and the customer want 2 lighting circuits (ceiling lights and 5a sockets) on 2 way intermediate with 3 switches. would it be possible to have a 2g switch to switch them independent so they can have either on or both then have the other 2...

Been toa job this morning and the customer (well gaffer) is complaining about nusiance tripping. Meggered it all, all fine (over 150meg for a10yr old installation). 2 rcd tested on auto 1 tested at 1x 17 and 5x 8ms. But the other one doesn't trip at all for the tester but trip about 3 or 4 times...

Just wondering does a contactor need a neutral, got a 63a mcg contactor to control a electric heating fuseboard. A1 is a permanent live from the timer and I assume a2 is a switched live? Then top is the incoming feed then the bottom terminals are the outgoing.
