I use crimps and heat shrink a lot mate, just take your meter readings before and after so that you know there joined correctly and job done. :)

Is it possible if the client gets the meter moved by EDF, can you then reconnect to existing consumer unit 13 meters away. Basically can you extend the tails to 13 meters. Cheers all;)

Hi All, Woriking on job today and I saw that the main incomer had the config of a TNCS system with the 16mm earth coming out of the neutral block but it also had an earth clamp around the cable with a 6mm coming out going into the MET with the 16mm, is there a reason for this or what. Cheers...
