2 way double switches

Hi everyone first post today and wecome trying to wire up some switches but no lack so far I had touch switches before but replacing them witch tegular MK 2 way any help appreciated thanks
Second picture two wire cable is permament live and nutral
First picture single thicker wire is permament nutral if this is make sense

I would guess that the blue & whites ae the strappers...

but that's just guessing..
without seeing how they were original connected..

Or metering them out to the other end of the 2-way switching...

The actual colours used will depend upon the preference of the person who originally fitted the previous switch.

I think this was old when I was young
to late now, but you should have taken photos,
now its guess work , and sorry I don't do guessing

You are assuming blue is neutral, that age of cabling neutral was black

With all due respect if you think those blues are neutrals it would be getter getting a Spark in for an hour to sort out and avoid the .
The lack of CPC is a separate issue, this cable bing some 50/60 years old

with a functioning earth ?

The back box shown does not require an earth but whether this is the case with the others and connected light fittings who knows. It may be wise to get it checked over.
