dont see how this situation is any different to plugging in a faulty appliance on any other metallic surface. if there is a fault, the appliance should be earthed via flex, not via tableMy assessor said with all that metal about in a commercial kitchen if a faulty kettle or something was put on the surface and the is a high impedance there is a good chance a lot could become alive which is not a good thing obviously.Batty
I have only RCD protected the general use socket circuits by using a RCBO, all the cabling is singles inside PVC trunking and conduit... have a look at my gallery for some photos...Just to satisfy my curiosity, are you using main RCD, RCBOs or none of it? my involvement in commercial and industrial properties is very limited, so I just wondered what you guys do...
Yeh, but you connect from each side for each side of the DB!!the proteus doesnt look too bad, apart from the earth & neutral blocks only having one shared between both sides
