Advice on gettin your webpage to the top of google

Hi iv recently got a website and am not very good with computers,so any advice welcome.iv read alot about content and keywords not sure if my sites contain enough information how much do you set adwords at for sparkys?all reviews welcome

First thing - you've got your keywords in the description field and vice versa. Second, google goes on links to your site so add a local links page and try to establish reciprocal links with all the other sites in the area. Third it takes time - it took over a year after I set up my links page but now if you google "dual heating", I come up just after the paid entries on page 1.
