baxi solo boiler

Hi my baxi solo pcb board recently decided to give up...i knew this because the boiler wouldnt always fire up unless i wobbled the pcb board around untill it ignited....soo i changed the pcb board tonight with what was an 'exact' replacement (all the terminals matched each other) but now my pump in the airing cupboard wont switch off? I know there meant to 'overun' but after 6 hours i realised it was never going to cut out . Any ideas? If i switch the boilers fused spur off and then back on again the pump stays off...soon as the boiler fires up pump comes in , soon as boiler switches off pump stays on ! Any ideas? Thanks

Check for any links that can be cut. It could be a faulty pcb. Have you looked over the old board for any dry joints that could be re-soldered

Yes it turned out to be a relay ? Unfortunatly the pcb board was in bad condition anyway so a replacement had to be done...will check for links tomorow... If not could a live and sw live be the wrong way round?

Disconnect the live for the pump from the pcb and see if it runs. If it does not run this will eliminate its getting a feed from another control.
