changing some ELV lamps to 230v LEDs in a bathroom,

do I need to change the fittings to IP rated?

am I actually changing the circuit by removing the transformers?

1 Tx per lamp at present, its not a major issue, just need to know to explain to customer in simple terms,

I think I need to change fittings, but TBH Im a bit F'd as to why just now,,,,,,

open fittings AFAIAA(but I dont know for certain), the lady has already bought all the LEDs, 114 of them to be precise,

3 holiday homes she rents out,

the larger of which we have done the ASHP and PV at,

as this job is NOT local I need to have the gear with me if it needs to be changed, hence why I cant just pop round and have a look,,,,,,

gawd, I hate these jobs going blind when some other idiot has done the 'so-called' "survey" of what is required...

It would also depend on Wat watt led lamps are as I think 5 watt and above are longer mate so might pertrude out some fittings.

Id say you werent changing fixed wiring so should be ok but if over bath would need to be ip rated

Love these jobs always forget something however prepared you are..

depends what zone there in steps. If in zone 1 or 2 they'll need to be changed to IP rated fittings.
