Choosing solar panels.

Evening all
Choosing panels and got it down to either of these, any thoughts on them please would be appreciated,
390W Trina Vertex S Mono All Black Solar Panel
JA Solar JAM54S31-390/MR All Black 390W Solar Panel

Not used Trina, but fitted quite a few JA, which are fine. Check spec sheet for panel efficieny, you want to be around 20% these days. Also worth looking at performance drop over 25 years, figures should be on the spec sheet. I wwould also look for 'split cells' which means the cells are smaller so less prone to performnce drop from bird poo.

Ja is 20.0 and 84.8 for the 25 years and says split cell
Trina is 20.5 and 84.8 and says 1/3 split cell
So really not a lot in it. Trina says it hasn't got a lip on it so can't fit a bird deterrent so that might be the reason not to go for it

the JA is better at low light levels - look at the graphs and 200W / m and 500W / m figures. Suites winter outputs better and cloudy days.
