You have a DB with 100mA protection
You have a circuit with a 32a socket outlet with a 30mA rcd fitted - protecting the socket outlet
When completing the test sheet I’m on the understanding , the rcd protecting that circuit is 100mA and that information will be inputted on the test sheet
The socket outlet itself 30mA will be tested and recorded say on a ppm sheet or recorded on notes of the test sheet , as it is not protecting the actual circuit
A few lads at work seem confused by this and are saying you should write 30mA on the test sheet for that circuit test the socket and record them results on the test sheet
which I disagree with that
Also what if you had a circuit with multiple rcd socket outlets ?
They say test them and record highest
Same again I’m on the understanding the rcd in the DB protects that circuit
And the socket outlets should be tested separately and recorded on a Ppm sheet or something similar
