I've just been updating all our BT account passwords in the wake of the disclosure by Yahoo ....... what a pain

I've lost count of all the accounts we as a family and my business have ... so keeping track of all of them is tricky to say the least (and yes I do the wives and the kids too as they are useless ATM)

Just wondering about investing in one of these packages that can "manage" passwords for you - anyone got any experience of them?

thanks for that!......which particular account woul you use that for  :innocent

Too late Steptoe has already used it to transfer the funds from all of Canoeboy's business accounts into his beer and motorbike fund.

I just did the same ,  but it wouldn't recognise my existing password although I was logged  anyway ,  must have tried a million times before I remembered that it WAS BT Yahoo email once  but was changed to just BT Email  which is different , I presume .

I changed that anyway .

My passwords are in a hi-tech storage / retrieval  system  in keeping with my position as Forum IT Consultant .  :Blushing

I have a theory that when all our lives are fully controlled by computers , hackers will bring down the whole system , leaving us all floundering round helplessly .

Youngsters will be staggering in circles like zombies, desperately poking non responding  screens  when they find they cannot text , Twitter  or  report their every bowel movement on Facebook .
