Connections to 95mm^2 cable

I'm bidding on a new caravan site install.

To keep volt drop down to 3% I'll need to run a 95mm^2 4c cable from one main DB to second DB in the middle of the next field. To get back into my comfort zone I need to get from 95mm back down to 25mm at both ends.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a suitable connector block?

If not has anyone used 95mm DIN rail connectors? Do they grip 25mm cable as well?

Any tips for pre-forming such large cables?

Had a job like this once on a big lighting install main feeder pillar was installed behind crash barrier on highway but the nearest DNO service was accross the field so a small pillar was install with a DNO service and 80a 3PH isolator,

For volt drop the cable accross the run was 185mm 4-core this was jointed under ground at each end to a 35mm 4-core to make termination easier at both ends. We used massive resin filled joints made by 3M.

 
Thanks for the response. For feeding the top field which is a fair distance I need to keep volt drop down. So from a 63A 3 phase supply via MCBs - which would normally take a 25mm cable I need to connect to a 95mm cable. Similarly at the other end coming down from 95 to either 25 or 16 so I can distribute as a radial to a run of caravans.

I haven't got crimp tools for such a big beast - and I assume the way forward with this would be to connect to a big bus bar - which for what I'm trying to achieve seems a bit of overkill.

 
I know someone who bought a set of those (very very similar looking at that similar price) they couldn't crimp up a chocolate teapot, totally in-useable for making good crimp connections that won't fail, you get what you pay for I suppose....

Well i've never had any trouble with the ones i bought and i've done some big cables with them.

Agreed!

Customer bought some and let me have a go. Absolute shucking fite. The dies were not even hexagonal OR even a matched pair on each side. Tried them on a 25, crimped, released [ooooh err missus!]. Removed termination from crimp head, lug fell off onto floor

Best used as a paperweight but only if you cannot find anything else... :coat

 
When i've made the end off i allways give it a good old tug just to check it i do that with any crimps i make regardless of size,

Just a habit i've got from when doing large motor connections when i was in factory maint.

 
out of interest what exactly is the plan? is the 32mm really needed?

Hire Crimping tool or do as I did .

Blooming big adapt. box ( 95mm is unforgiving) and use Line Taps onto your 25mm . Its ugly but its cheap and does the job.
