Hi All, First time posting,

I have been out to a creda nsh that had a melted fuse link, noted it had been boxed in but the box had been removed before I got there. I tested the switch and it was operating ok, the dampers also operated, I replaced the link with the correct colour as per the manufactures spec and the heater has ran for a month trouble free, just got a call now to say link has melted again, can anyone point me in a direction to investigate?

The customers assure me they have`nt had it covered

^^ what he says. its most likely been covered. of course they wont admit it. charge the same as you did last time for labour and thermal link. its a consumable

if I apply heat from a hair dryer gently to the sensing bulb of the room stat and adjust I have continuity until it reaches temp, alter to a higher heat setting and do the same I again have continuity until it reaches temp. I can do this all the way to max.
