My Duo400i started making clicking sounds and the control panel flashed. For a while the problem was cured by turning it off and on. Now if the unit is on it just clicks. Have had a look inside and one of the thermostats, Honeywell T23, has the centre protruding out. Is this the problem?

Any body had similar problems?

if the thermal cutout clicks when you push the middle button in, it has tripped. check there are no obvious problems like blocked vents and re-set. if it trips again there is a fault and would need checked over in more detail

make sure the supply is isolated before touching anything - most connections have exposed wiring

Probably too late as you posted this in October but...

I have fixed one of these with the same symptoms, do the red lights flash while it clicks?, if so you need a new PCB power supply unit (the PCB at the bottom right of the heater)
