Been asked to look at an audio door entry system which is faulty. The reception of the voice from outside has a lot of interference and if your outside you can hear what is being said in the office. My initial thought was perhaps one of the switches is stuck leaving the communication line open. I've not worked on one of these before. DOes anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram from for them. Or does anyone have aany advice for problem solving with these.Could be damp in the outside bit. Most basic ones use a 4 core between, I'd scrap it myself and start with a new one. Some of these things appear on the market then disapear for good. I think "Entryphone" did after I'd fitted about six and they started to play up. They all seem to come from Italy . As for the diagrams, there's thousands of them. You'd need a make and model to get anywhere with finding a diagram. May be possible to repair it, but if it's a single call point single station setup then probably easier to just replace with whatever is to hand at the wholesalers TBH.
