And we are trying to look at the facts of the OP case, not hypothetical scenarios of if the spark was qualified or how incompetent the LABC were..

A decent LABC will look for a copy of signed cert from a Reg contractor, then they can pass the buck to the electrical contractor if future problems arise;)

the contractor responsible is registered with napit thats about as much as i no.
we should assume the spark should be qualified & competent....

Or he isnt registered at all and just stuck their logo on.
ive checked today. this idiot IS registered. Just goes to show these schemes are willing to take anyboday on that will part with there cash.
