And we are trying to look at the facts of the OP case, not hypothetical scenarios of if the spark was qualified or how incompetent the LABC were..

A decent LABC will look for a copy of signed cert from a Reg contractor, then they can pass the buck to the electrical contractor if future problems arise

the contractor responsible is registered with napit thats about as much as i no.

we should assume the spark should be qualified & competent....
