if youve tested it as satisfactory then it must be safe to leave the power on... or maybe its that bad you dont want to leave any power on until youve gone and itll be someone else who gets a shock. after all, even though your name is on the paperwork as signing it off as safe, its not you who takes responsibility for it...

Yes. Rubbish.

They do not want to get people electrocuted if I left the fuse on the busbar. That is way they only supply one for now.

23 fuses to come when the place are safe to power on.

So, how much is the looking answer. Is like an unsolved enigma.

Or that game on construction sites.

When I meet a college from the same agency. I am told them how much I am getting and they repply to me " I do not discuss money". Poor souls.

Why would an installation which has had an initial verification be dangerous to leave energised?  :redcard

£200 per day in central London. No way.  That's what I charge up here in the Highlands when working in a local town so I can just drive a few miles and park right outside where I am working.

You are being used.

The trouble is Dave, if you’re working for one of these ‘testing/social housing’ companies, they generally give you the parking permits but only pay inline with JIB rates regardless if you work as an employee or a subbie so £180-200 is max you’ll get. Now if this was your own work then you’ll probably get more but then you have to factor in parking charges, congestion charges, emission charge, diesel charge etc.

Sadly as we all know rates aren’t where they should be.
