ELV electric shock

What I just don't get here Andy is that say the voltage is 50V and, for argument sake, the resistance of my body is 200Ω, the current would be 0.25A, enough to kill me. So how can ELV not be deemed dangerous?You'll be sick of me before the day's out Andy! :D
ELV is not deemed dangerous because even though it can give a shock, overall resistance should be high enough to prevent enough current flowing to kill.

your unlikely to come accross this, but in IT earthing systems, its kinda related. there is a high impedance between the transformer neutral and earth, so any current flowing is limited because of volt drop accross the resistance to earth
