Denman's have a monthly 'sale day' , well my local one does anyway, I get an email every month showing me what's on offer. There's usually some fairly cheap cable, and a few other bits and bobs.... :blink:

BUT......

I've been suspicious for a long time that the goods being offered are based on my account details....... :huh:

...coz no matter WHAT I've bought in the last few weeks, it'll be on sale for a better price than I got it/them for! Bleat!!  headbang

Well thats what puters are all about  isn't it Monkey?   

I just delved into my laptop , which has upgraded to Windows 10 and switched off as many snooping apps as I dared .

There are comments like ...." Windows 10  will log ALL your online activity and send it to  Microsoft so that they can offer you a much smoother experience "  

Ballcocks !!   Snooping is more like .    Jeez wait till they see Stepp's  activity !!!  Oh no they won't will they as he hates Windoze with a vengance .  :innocent

The other thing I just thought of Monkey ,  our buying historys are retained  in case of notifying for recalls , like the Crabtree/ Wylex / Steeple crock up. 

The letter from Electrium on that subject  opened with ...."Our records show that you have fitted Crabtree boards ....."
