Hi guys. Just out of curiosity at 35 years old and just about to start 2330 what are the chances of me getting out and about with a spark to get some much needed experience. I have an electrical background but not in sparkying. Is there lots of people asking for this all the time????

Very good I hope - I am 34 on Xmas day. :)

I think several sparks would prefer to take on a mature person that someone they can rely on or trust to leave on their own?

I'm in the midlands. Derby actually. I know what your saying about mature students admin I use to be a supervisor in a factory that did panel wiring and we preffered more mature people. Seems some of the younger ones just dont want to work

Most of them dont, lazy ****ers think that the whole world owes them summat.

I say canvass all the companies in your area, you never know what might happen. Good luck to you young man. :)
