Flex Connector

Quick question.

I need a flex connector but the one i just bought was rubbish, bad terminals, bad screws and no way of allowing any space for the flex at all inside the unit.

Can anyone recommend a brand to use or an alternative way of joining 2 bits of flex?

That's how most of them are IME, takes a knack to get them together tidily. Would a plug and socket be an option if you can;t manage the flex connectors?

 
What's the flex on?

I had a damaged flex on a table lamp and I swapped it for an in-line switch to make it look deliberate!

something similar i would say patch,

a lot cheaper though, I think round the 5er all in IIRC, I needed 16 of them, was going from armoured flex to simple flex, inside garden lamps.

but if you only need one then I wouldnt bother looking any further for
