any of you 2nd city guys or gals know of a decent pub or 3 in golders green?

dunno the exact area just yet but down there for a couple of days next week doing an air source heat pump.

wednesday,thursday I think.

I lived in Brent Cross during my 2nd year at Uni. About 2 minutes from Golders Green.

It's a very Jewish area - everything shut on Saturday and open on Sunday.

Keep an eye on your belongings.

Golders Green in London? Then yes

Golders Green is a very cosmopolitan district. It has had a prominent Jewish community since the 1900s.

the area does not house pubs in abundance

In the year I lived there I never went to a local pub. We went into London proper and the student bars near college itself. Brent Cross and Golders Green both on the Northern Line as is Camden where the college is.

Everyone is either Jewish or white kids that talk like black kids. Not sure how politically correct I phrased that but I think it's ok. innit.

White kids talking black is rife round here too not just in London mate. Dunno why tho . Prob something to do with the music culture.

Thought Birmingham was deemed to be the 2nd city , just spent half an hour searching the AtoZ for Golders Green ,Birmingham.

no, thats when your too drunk to drive, 'break' your vehicle, and get the AA to tow you home
