WF Senate have a great selection. We have just purchased 6 of the 400w equivalent flood lights. To soon to talk about reliability and they were expensive.

Stratus. The 250w LED one is £530 (book price).

Comes with separate driver also for easy replacement.

The Goodlight 120W GX1's high bay leds are really good, around £220 plus vat a fitting

Try the forum sponsors first - fastlec and novel - as they have always been good to me
whats the light output of them compared to MH? at 120w, i doubt it will be bright enough to match 400w mh?

thats pretty much similar to what ive found, in which case MH has more lumens per watt than LED, so not going to be much point in changing lots of light

I don't think the technology is quite there yet.

Is lowering the hanging distance an option.

exactly what i was thinking. there isnt a problem with what they have, they just want to try and reduce energy (lots of other stuff being done too). for how much its going to cost for what they will benefit, i doubt it will go ahead.

Do the calcs for them. Work out what they spend on lighting per year now and what saving they will make per year on their bill. If they are a large, established company they may well bite.

really cant be bothered doing all that - opted for emailing a few manufacturers with the details, let them do the work, then see if they want to go ahead with it or not
