I went to this local authority property to connect the new boiler and install central heating controls.

Consumer Unit was installed in 2005, tennant tried to claim the electrical contractor (a fairly reputable company) installed the shower when the cu was changed in 2005.

The 10mm cable was chased into the bathroom wall (outside the bathroom and outside the zones!), there was still dust on the skirting board and a very new looking shower.

Look where the shower was connected into the cu, just wonder what the disconnection time will be?? :pray :pray

Someone had also used some 6A connectors to extend the ring and left this hanging near the ceiling!

The neutral is visible on the feed side of the RCD and the live is next to it tucked away at the back of the live feed.

The over current protection is the BS88 main fuse.

Yes shower cable was stripped back outside the CU.

found something similar but fused down and taken from the outgoing L of the rcd

Had the same 3 weeks ago a garage supply taken off the main side of the rcd no fused protection after the incomer turned out the owner had been to b and q got a split load board (even after 17th edition came out ) and did it as his weekend project
