This is is bread and butter for any electrician so leave the design to them. The sooner you get your sparks involved the less pain you will experience later on.
I'm not about to start any of this without the spark but I do believe it helps you have an understanding of what's involved. The project has a lot of data, media  and home automation cabling which needs to be routed well and enclosures located in the right places - so a holistic design has to be done by someone - it's not going the be the spark.

This is a very basic design. A first year apprentice could design this. Engage with your electrician and he will be able to do this in 30 minutes and won't cost you a penny if you are using him anyway.
Yeah - but the first year apprentice might need help with KNX, HDBaseT, and ethernet scattered around the house and might not be able to determine the impact of his cabling for the broader project. The more I know about what the electrician has to do, and he about what I'm trying to achieve, the better.

Tas, it is clear from your terminology that you know what you want, As an educated person you should also realise that we can only give general advise. We are not privvy to your exact requirements

Youre question is likened to posting a picture of a Henry Matisse painting. We can all see it but to say its an original? Not from a picture I am afraid. We need to see the original painting.

Was working on a job today with a contactor for the shower so that it doesn't melt the 63a RCCB covering the shower, sockets and the cooker cct.

Like thats gonna happen....

This was 2 showers and a cooker on a 60a supply, the showers weren't on long enough to blow the fuse but over time but melted the undersized supply cable.

those strands of the earthing cable sticking through the block could puncture the unsheathed live cable(s), it seems to me.

Why not,?

You need a better spark IMHO,!

Or are you getting different people to do the data etc,?

If that's the case then you need a designer that can actually design to keep separation distances correct, a good spark will know these, and design accordingly,

Something no-one on an Internet forum could ever do without a site visit.

Yes, fair point. For me it was a challenge to ask the question well and with enough information because I didn't know enough about it to ask the precise question. My un-educated assumptions lead me to a difficult question to answer. I'm very grateful for your and help and everyone else who helped me hone in on the actual issue and get an answer to my question.

I'm sure there are sparks out there that do know all this stuff but it's not easy to find them in my experience. It took me quite a bit of calling around to find one who appreciated that the electrical design would be different for DALI with KNX control . As for the network it doesn't make sense to ask a spark to design a computer network any more than it does to ask a network engineer to design the electrical circuits. They are different skill sets with different qualifications. If there are qualified sparks out there that also have a professional networking certification (e.g. Cisco or Juniper) then I'd love to know how to find them.
