How To Shrink A Db

A council job where they wanted the old MEM db (wired as single phase) changed.

So a quick email to SBS Dave & an order was placed, then collected a 21 way MK metal enclosure.

The tails were marked up as L & N, with the old DB also being ripped out & skipped post photos being taken.

I have just received the two distribution boards from Dave. Well I received them on Wednesday as promised. First impressions are very good, I just like how solid the board has been put together.

I intend to take photo's of the install and will post them on here. If anyone is thinking about using these boards, I would highly recommend them and that is based on first impressions alone.

Thanks for the photos, M107. Nice to know my equipment is featured in such a high quality installation.

For those not familiar with the Compact set up, the exposed busbar pins are Neutral busbar pins, so don't need insulation.

The Live busbar pins behind them, have been insulated.

If I have a spare few ways I generally use a piece of heat shrink to cover both live and neutral. I always use MK blanks also seems more professional than the slot in blanks.
