I've been here in this facade for almost 3 or 4 months i think , and saying that , this is one of the site that i've never missed to open every single night .. this time i need your opinion as you all knew that i am an L plate member

i have passed my 2330 1st year course , the other night my wife was asking me how was college going on , so i showed to her my report and though i was aiming to have a D marks for the 2 major exam but still i'm glad that i've done my 1st year..my question is addressed to all of you ... my wife was asking me of rather than doing 1 day a week why not doing the full time course which is as far as i know that it would be 3 days a week, so as a busy father of 3 , I answered her , what about the kids and financial matter?, of course lets count it too , and she said we can arranged things like that ( my wife is a nurse and also doing extra shift in agency ) ... to be honest i just want to be a certified electrician at the end of the day....IF , i will go to this full time course what would be my qualification? could anyone please share some idea about the advantage and the disadvantage on this matter please..

thank you all and have a nice evening

The time it would take you would be almost the same.

I did most of my training on site or on the tools as they often say,its very hard for any one who has a family to look after, keep a wife happy and study all at the same time.

At the end of the day you must be open with your wife and never do anything that would compromise your relationship or you quality time with your kids.

I find the best students are always those who have everything to loose if they fail, it normaly means they will do whatever hours of study it takes to get a pass.

Part time or full time the qualifications are the same, your only problem may be the actual experiance, this can be overcome by part time or even agency work, though at the moment its a little sparce.
