I've just been reading a few threads and something I totally overlooked when installing my battery's was running temperature.
I've installed my battery's in my garage at the side of the inverter. Whilst I don't have a temp guage near the battery's I have the internal temp guage in the inverter which as I'm typing reads 12.5 Deg c. What is the ideal temp for the battery's to operate and should I be contemplating some kind of insulation for them.
Btw when we had the heat wave in the summer the inverter peaked at 51 degree so I guess this is bad for the battery's also.

LifeP04 cells should not be charged below 0 degC. I've configured my BMS to stop charging at 5 degC, the heaters come on at 10 deg C. So far, the heaters havent been used, using the batteries keeps them warm enough.
