rather not. read too many stories about paypal freezing accounts 'for suspicious use' and holding money for 6month etc.

and id rather deal with a company who i can phone and speak to someone in the UK, who speaks english, and is able to help, rather than phone paypal's premium rate foreign helpline

I have a mobile card reader, you have to have customer present to enter pin etc, but not always. You can do it over the phone but it records as customer not present and you are not as protected as much against faud.

plenty of response to this,hes doing the job for 370 cash the only thing hes going to buy is the board which is 10 way and the 3 socks as hes got the rest of stuff.hes doin the job 2moz he said he will make around 230 after givin his mate 50 for helpin him,hes goin to check ze thats it as customer knows the score and wants it done cheap

Sorry but that is totally Yee Haa and he puts the industry to shame how can he sleep at night Ze ain't even his work its the DNO's earth unless its TT and then thats even worse if thats all he is checking. How the hell does he know if the trips will meet the required disconnection times if he ain't doin Zs on existing. X(

Tell you what if the house burns down or worse someone dies do you think the punter will keep quite about who done the job - not a chance and he will tell them he paid for the full works to get off the hook. Shame on him X(

Nuthin wrong with takin a fast quid when it's there but at least do the punter the courtesy of doin the job the way it should be done.

Cost me nuthin? A year and a half into business and it may feel like it cost you nuthin now but look back over yer books and see what it cost you a year ago when you were stocking your van. I know what you mean, but Paul Daniels didnae magic that stuff into the back of my van. A loss on one job seems like a profit on another but I still paid for that stuff somewhere down the line.

i agree with the testing side of it,as it goes i know a couple of nic contractors who do the same thing,they just make sure the main earth is good then off with the loot if customer dont want a cert
