Lightbulb identification and how to change

Hi all,

Could anyone help me identify the lightbulb in my bathroom. It's one that changes into 3 different light settings.

Very little DIY knowledge and if anyone knows how to change this, it would be much appreciated.

it looks as though you may have to replace the led set with the wiring block complete. 
 

What manufacturer/model of light?

That's an array of LED's.  They are not normally sold separately, you will probably need a whole new light fitting.

What diameter is the circuit board the LED's are on?  you might get lucky and find one of the LED Gear Trays sold for replacements to 2D lights just might fit.

I bought some fairly expensive Philips fittings and was assured that replacement led modules were available.  

If your fitting is a recognised make it could be worth following up, otherwise a new fitting is the simplest solution.

It was originally a Philips circular tubular light, and then we had electricians come in as we didn't know how to change the circular bulb (rental property) and we didn't realise that they had changed the entire fitting and put that in without us realising. We have no idea what the fitting is. but the diameter is 7 inches.

So it probably was a 2D type of light originally.

Search on ebay (handy place to find lots of stuff for sale in one place) for "2D LED Gear Tray" and you will find loads of them.  the main thing to check is the diameter of the replacement is the same as the original.

A lot of LED fittings come with a 3 year warranty - so you may have a replacement available via the spark who fitted it

As it's a rental property I would contact your landlord to get the fitting replaced/repaired. As others have said it might still be in warranty.

All I can add is on an ecological point, "sealed" LED units need to be dispatched to history and that all light fittings need to have customer changeable bulbs (lamps)
