Megger continuity fault

Hi all ive just sent my tester in for calibration and got a call from the supplier that there was a problem with it giving inconsistant continuity readings. Has any one come across this. I have checked it against a socket that was tested by myself before and the reading is the same as when first tested. Any ideas.

Could be lead is it same on socket lead as single leads?

actualy didnt check the socket leads but they did not specify which ones. funny thing is i dont think they actualy took the leads out the pouch as i got them back just as i packed them. Makes me wonder

Generally they check meter with your leads no point having it calibrated if your leads are faulty.
