Just after a bit of help working out required overload protection on contactor for this motor ( attached picture sent via plumber )

I agree!! Oh, and the overload protection for the motor is not an option there is a reg that covers it.. All motors greater than 370w i think it is from memory..

370W it is indeed John, well remembered, reg 552-01-02.

This used to confuse me because I would always say what about my 1000W Dyson vacuum cleaner don't see any contactor and overload on that, but I think that reg goes onto to talk about "if the motor is part of a piece of equipment that is covered as a whole by another British Standard" or words to that effect, it has been a while.

The other thing with motor starters is the no-volt release  to prevent re-starting after a power outage or an  EM  stop being reset.
